SCHOOL BUS DRIVER TRAINING

 

There was a 40% documented decrease in school bus incidents within a northeastern Wisconsin school district after Children's Promise bus driver training. Within a different northeastern Wisconsin school district, school bus incidents decreased over 50% after Children’s Promise school bus driver training.

Children’s Promise currently includes Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) principles in its School Bus Driver Training.  “Multi-tiered systems of support are used within 58% of Wisconsin’s school districts.” (Wisconsin RtI Center).
